Role overview
General Manager leading Westburne's Midwest division across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
Own divisional profitability, growth, market share, talent development, customer and vendor relationships, and operational execution.
The role includes expanding digital and e-commerce capabilities and leading a distributed workforce.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the management team and create a high-performing work environment.
- Manage P&L, strategic direction, sales growth, market share, budgets, capital plans, and workforce plans.
- Evaluate performance, solve business problems, and improve processes and execution.
- Develop marketing initiatives and expand the customer base.
- Maintain vendor, supply partner, customer, and internal stakeholder relationships.
- Lead annual planning and collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, and other business functions.
- Represent Westburne and Rexel Canada and support health and safety compliance.
Qualifications
- University degree and more than 15 years of leadership experience in construction and MRO product distribution.
- Proven record managing multiple branch operations and delivering superior business results.
