Under general supervision, the General Maintenance Technician performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled task related to the maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of school district building, equipment and grounds.
The employee ensures facilities are safe, clean, and operational for student and staff, and public, in accordance with Pender County Schools policies and procedures.
Carpentry (doors locks, hardware, drywall, flooring)
Plumbing (minor leaks, fixtures, drains)
Electrical (lighting switches, outlets, ballasts, basic troubleshooting)
