About the Role
Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality is seeking a General Ledger & Income Audit Lead to oversee revenue verification and financial recording for shared services business units. The role ensures daily revenue integrity, compliance with internal controls, and accurate general ledger management.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate posting of all journal entries
- Perform monthly closing procedures, including accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations
- Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and financial standards (e.g., USALI)
- Work closely with accounts payable, receivable, and other finance team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Oversee the daily audit of hotel revenue streams, including rooms, food & beverage, spa, and other outlets
- Verify the accuracy of daily revenue reports and reconcile against POS and PMS systems
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in revenue postings, voids, discounts, and payment variances
- Ensure proper recording of service charges, taxes, and gratuities in accordance with policies
- Review night audit summaries and collaborate with front office and F&B departments to ensure compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus)
- 10+ years of experience in hotel or hospitality accounting, with a focus on AP and general ledger functions
- Strong understanding of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI)
- Experience with hotel accounting software such as FMC, SunSystems, OPERA or similar platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage a team and collaborate across departments
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
