Norstar Industries Ltd. is a family-owned manufacturer located just outside Rosenort, Manitoba. We manufacture innovative grain handling equipment, industrial conveyance systems, U-Drain™ floor drainage systems, and Haul-All trailers that serve customers across North America.
We're looking for dependable General Laborers to join our production team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality products, and is eager to learn different areas of a manufacturing operation.
As a General Laborer, you may be assigned to one department or rotate between departments based on production needs, making this an excellent opportunity to develop a variety of manufacturing skills.
As a General Laborer, you'll support daily manufacturing operations by assisting production teams where needed while maintaining Norstar's high standards for quality and safety.
Responsibilities may include:
Assist with manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly processes
Move materials and components throughout the facility
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Support production teams in various departments as business needs require
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Perform quality checks on completed work
Follow work instructions, production schedules, and company procedures
Assist with loading, unloading, packaging, or preparing products for shipment
Perform other general labour duties as assigned
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or construction experience is an asset but not required

Starting wage of $18.00 per hour
Regular performance and wage reviews with opportunities for growth
Four-day work week (Monday to Thursday)
