Key Responsibilities
- Process and submit spare-parts quotes to clients.
- Understand ship-engine and propulsion-system components.
- Communicate effectively with clients in writing and verbally.
- Receive client enquiries and understand their requirements.
- Carry out data-entry activities accurately.
- Apply Incoterms, currency conversions, and client payment terms.
- Perform buyer and supplier functions for clients.
- Coordinate with accounts on Niigata receivables and IPS payables.
- Submit regular sales reports to the director.
- Maintain accurate filing and minimize administrative errors.
- Provide friendly, cooperative customer care.
- Perform other duties assigned by the manager.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a similar role in the ship repair or shipbuilding industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Data entry skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete multiple duties promptly and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail.
Work Location
- The role is performed in person.
