Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds and changing linens
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and public areas
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, replenish towels, toiletries, and other guest amenities
- Restock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies and linens
- Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and safety hazards to the supervisor
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously
- Remove trash and replace waste bin liners
- Ensure rooms meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards before guest check in
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, elevators, and other assigned public areas
- Follow hotel health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Assist with laundry duties when required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage but not always required
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift, and walk for extended periods

Job Overview
