Role Overview
The employer is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join its finance team in the UAE.
The role requires financial accounting knowledge, UAE tax knowledge, TallyPrime proficiency, and payroll experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate Tax filings under UAE requirements.
- Maintain financial records and prepare timely financial reports.
- Process payroll and comply with WPS requirements.
- Manage leave, employee benefits, contracts, onboarding, records, and visa processing coordination.
- Handle employee queries about salary calculations and deductions.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant accounting experience.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and labor law.
- TallyPrime proficiency is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
