About the Role
Silver Space Electromechanical Works LLC seeks a skilled General Accountant to oversee daily financial operations, manage stock inventory, and handle payroll processing. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate, real time records of all daily transactions, journal entries, income, and expenses within Zoho Books
- Generate and issue tax invoices, track client payment milestones, and proactively manage collections
- Review, verify, and log vendor bills; manage supplier profiles and coordinate timely payments
- Perform weekly reconciliations of bank accounts and credit cards within Zoho Books
- Prepare monthly trial balances, profit & loss statements, and assist in managing petty cash and project costing metrics
- Monitor, track, and manage physical and accounting stock levels within the Zoho ecosystem
- Oversee logistics paper trail including generation, tracking, and reconciliation of Delivery Challans, packing slips, and warehouse dispatches
- Coordinate regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances against digital inventory records
- Process customer returns, partial delivery rejections, and supplier credit notes, ensuring stock valuations adjust correctly
- Prepare monthly payroll register, accurately calculating basic salaries, allowances, overtime, and deductions
- Reconcile output and input tax records, prepare documentation, and file quarterly VAT returns via FTA portal
- Ensure all business expenses, asset depreciation schedules, and financial records comply with UAE Corporate Tax regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of core accounting experience within the UAE
- Advanced proficiency in Zoho Books is mandatory
- Strong command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Proven experience executing payroll via corporate banking platforms and solid grasp of WPS procedures
- Practical experience handling FTA VAT returns and foundational understanding of UAE Corporate Tax rules
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- High attention to numerical accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently to meet monthly closing deadlines

- Prepare the monthly payroll register, accurately calculating basic salaries, allowances, overtime, and deductions for unpaid leaves
Key Responsibilities UAE Tax & Compliance
- Reconcile output and input tax records, prepare documentation, and file quarterly VAT returns via the FTA portal
- Ensure all business expenses, asset depreciation schedules, and financial records comply with UAE Corporate Tax regulations
- Organize and maintain clean digital audit trails within Zoho Books to support annual external financial audits
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of core accounting experience within the UAE
- Advanced proficiency in Zoho Books is mandatory. Familiarity with Zoho Inventory or the broader Zoho One suite is highly advantageous. Strong command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required
