About The Role
We’re seeking a GCP Subject Matter Expert to join our client’s mission-critical transformation in Riyadh.
As a freelance builder, you’ll architect and drive secure, scalable, and innovative Google Cloud solutions that power enterprise and retail IT environments.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and implementing secure, scalable, and cost-effective GCP solutions for enterprise and retail IT environments
- Leading cloud migration strategies, including planning and executing workload transitions to GCP
- Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager
- Integrating third-party services such as Active Directory, ServiceNow, Backup, Antivirus, and FinOps tools with GCP
- Troubleshooting and resolving GCP infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and performance
- Collaborating with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and manage GKE-based container orchestration
- Ensuring security, compliance, and governance across GCP environments
- Staying updated with GCP service enhancements and industry best practices
- Supporting Windows and Linux OS installation and troubleshooting
- Communicating effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
What We’re Looking For
- Ownership mindset with a passion for solving complex problems and driving measurable impact
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years working on GCP projects
- Proven expertise in GCP native SaaS and PaaS services
- Hands-on experience with cloud migration, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices
- Proficiency in Terraform, Deployment Manager, and CI/CD tools
- Strong understanding of IAM, VPC, and GCP security frameworks
- Good understanding of GCP database services such as Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Firestore, and Cloud Spanner
- Experience with Windows and Linux system administration
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is required
- Preferred: Certifications on Azure, AWS, and OCI
Technical Skills
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – architecture, migration, security, and operations
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Deployment Manager
- CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and container orchestration
- Integration with third-party enterprise tools (Active Directory, ServiceNow, Backup, Antivirus, FinOps)
- Windows and Linux OS administration
- GCP database services: Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Firestore, Cloud Spanner
Language Proficiency
- Professional proficiency in English is required
Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Certified Cloud Practitioner are a plus
