About this Role

What you’ll do

• Build, operate, and maintain GCP platform services and support onboarding of applications, automation workloads, data pipelines, and internal services.
• Provision infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated deployments.
• Manage GCP services including IAM, VPC, GCS, BigQuery, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Composer, Pub/Sub, Logging, and Monitoring.
• Implement security guardrails for access, secrets, compliance, tagging, and governance, and manage Kubernetes and Docker workloads.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, maintain Terraform modules and operational documentation, and support upgrades, patching, remediation, incidents, and access reviews.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and utilization and contribute to Agile planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement.

Who you are

• Degree or higher qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Strong GCP, Terraform, CI/CD, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, networking, secrets management, and scripting experience.
• Ability to resolve complex cloud platform issues and create operational documentation, runbooks, support procedures, and standards.
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe is required; Airflow or Cloud Composer, BigQuery operations, data pipelines, Dataflow, or Spark is advantageous.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are required.
