Responsibilities
- Perform advanced fragrance analyses using state of the art GC/MS and GC/FID technologies
- Investigate and interpret complex fragrance compositions, raw materials and performance characteristics
- Contribute to fragrance reconstitution and formula understanding through analytical expertise and olfactory evaluation
- Partner closely with perfumers, translating analytical findings into actionable insights
- Lead and support analytical projects for internal stakeholders and customers
- Collaborate across functions including Perfumery, Evaluation, Applications, Innovation and Compounding
- Continuously expand expertise in fragrance raw materials, sensory evaluation and analytical methodologies
- Ensure reliability and optimal performance of laboratory equipment and analytical processes
Requirements
- Experience with Gas Chromatography techniques, ideally GC/MS and GC/FID
- Strong interest in fragrance analysis, composition and raw materials
- Well developed analytical thinking and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to translate complex technical data into clear conclusions and recommendations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Methodical, rigorous and detail oriented approach
- Curiosity, observation skills and continuous learning mindset
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills in an international environment
- Appreciation for both scientific and sensory dimensions of fragrance creation

Role Overview
- As a GC Perfumer Analyst, you will play a key role at the intersection of analytical science and perfumery, helping unlock the secrets behind fragrance compositions and supporting the creation of the next generation of fragrances.
What You'll Do
- Perform advanced fragrance analyses using state of the art GC/MS and GC/FID technologies
- Investigate and interpret complex fragrance compositions, raw materials and performance characteristics
- Contribute to fragrance reconstitution and formula understanding through both analytical expertise and olfactory evaluation
- Partner closely with perfumers, translating analytical findings into actionable insights
- Lead and support exciting analytical projects for internal stakeholders and customers
- Collaborate across functions including Perfumery, Evaluation, Applications, Innovation and Compounding
- Continuously expand your expertise in fragrance raw materials, sensory evaluation and analytical methodologies
