Role Overview
This is a hands-on technical role combining site work, sampling, testing, data analysis, and customer interaction. You'll be responsible for carrying out onsite gas testing activities, collecting samples for laboratory analysis, reviewing results, and producing reports that help customers maintain compliance and operational performance.
What You'll Be Doing
Carrying out onsite gas testing and analysis activities at customer locations.
Collecting gas and environmental samples to send for laboratory analysis.
Preparing, labelling, and dispatching samples to laboratories, ensuring all quality procedures are followed.
Reviewing analytical results and producing accurate reports for customers.
Working with testing and monitoring equipment to carry out site activities
Building strong relationships with customers and providing a professional service.
Travelling throughout North London, the South East, and East Anglia, with occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone from a testing, inspection, laboratory, engineering, or technical background who wants to develop a career in gas testing and analysis.
You may be working as a Laboratory Technician, Inspection Technician, Environmental Technician, Field Technician, Engineering Technician, Quality Technician, or similar.
Qualifications & Experience
Educated to A-Levels, BTEC, NVQ, apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent experience.
Ideally have experience in a testing, inspection, laboratory, environmental, engineering, or industrial environment.
Strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach.
Good communication and report-writing skills.
Full UK driving licence.
