Role Overview
Review and inspect LPG, NG, and SNG systems for UAE projects from design review through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Prepare technical comments, compliance reports, inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and final compliance certificates.
Design Review
- Review gas network layouts, pipeline routing drawings, P&IDs, gas tank farm layouts, vaporizer systems, and related equipment.
- Evaluate sizing calculations for pipework, gas demand, regulators, storage capacity, and relief valve capacity.
- Review pressure reducing stations, metering and regulator systems, gas detection systems, emergency shutdown systems, and ventilation requirements.
Inspection and Commissioning
- Conduct site inspections during installation, testing, commissioning, and handover stages.
- Verify approved drawings, materials, equipment, installation quality, work procedures, and method statements.
- Witness pneumatic, hydrostatic, tightness, functional, gas detector calibration, ESD system, purging, and commissioning activities.
- Review commissioning records and test certificates and verify completion documentation before certification.
