Gardener

Hackney Housing is currently looking for a Gardener to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day horticultural grounds maintenance works in our housing green areas.

You will have previous experience in amenity grounds maintenance and be qualified to, or the equivalent of NVQ level 2 in Amenity Horticulture. The role consists of managing all seasonal elements of grounds maintenance, including, grass cutting, shrub and rose bed maintenance, applying herbicides, leaf clearance and vehicle driving. You will be required to complete daily working sheets and other paperwork associated with the role. Our working days start at 7.30am, from four depots located across the borough and finish at 3.15pm.

A Full UK Drivers Licence and experience of towing trailers is desirable.
