Public Space Surveillance Technical Supervisor

You must have knowledge of, or enthusiasm for, CCTV or other allied technical matters. Training will be provided to the successful applicant to fill in the gaps in their knowledge. A formal qualification is not relevant; however you may have a keen interest in technical matters, perhaps building your own PCs, or radio controlled vehicles.

Above all else, you will be enthusiastic, a good team player, hard-working, with a track record of being a good communicator to people at all levels. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven organisational experience, combined with skills in computing applications, ideally able to use G Suite applications such as Gmail, G-Sheets, etc.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualifications (or equivalent level/type of experience)

- Possession of a BTEC Diploma or equivalent qualification in CCTV, or a demonstrable commitment to completing relevant training with evidence of ongoing progress (e.g., BTEC qualifications or equivalents in Public Space Surveillance).

- Formal qualifications or professional experience in Data Protection legislation and compliance, ideally within the scope of Public Space Surveillance.

- A valid manual driving licence, as driving duties are an essential requirement of the role.

- A minimum of two years of operational, technical supervisory, or administrative experience within Public Space Surveillance.

- Capability to maintain an average attendance of 3 days per 5-day working week, with the flexibility to work 5 days per week when required by management to cover annual leave, sickness, or operational demands.
