What you’ll do:

Plan and carry out grounds and property maintenance tasks, including mowing, whipper snipping, watering, gardening, pruning, weeding, mulching and planting.

Maintain lawns, gardens, fences, hedges, sprinklers and water supply systems.

Safely prepare and apply garden chemicals in accordance with AACo procedures and training requirements.

Operate and maintain equipment, including chainsaws, conducting pre-start checks, routine maintenance and reporting faults or repair needs.

Feed homestead animals and transport rubbish to the dump as required.

Maintain clean, tidy and safe work areas, accommodation and equipment.

Support AACo's commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable agricultural practices.

Experience and skills you’ll have

  • A current valid driver's licence.
  • Proven experience in general gardening, grounds maintenance and landscaping activities.
  • The ability to understand and follow written and verbal work, operational and safety instructions.
  • A self-motivated approach, with the confidence to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks in a dynamic station environment.
  • A collaborative team-player attitude, with the ability to build strong working relationships
