The Game Designer will own game design and live operations for games before and after launch.
The role combines hands-on game design with live operations, including systems, mechanics, features, events, promotions, and player engagement.
Responsibilities
- Own new game mechanics, systems, and features from concept and prototyping through implementation and iteration.
- Create game design documents, user stories, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Plan and deliver events, in-game activities, promotions, and live content.
- Manage the live content calendar while balancing player experience and business goals.
- Use player behaviour, feedback, and KPIs to guide design decisions.
- Test and iterate on content using data-driven optimisations.
- Collaborate with art, engineering, production, analytics, and marketing.
- Conduct player research and usability testing.
- Contribute to the product roadmap and feature prioritisation.
