Role Overview
Analyze player behavior data and produce insights that support game design and live operations.
Work with designers and producers to answer gameplay and product questions using data.
Location and Employment
- The role is fully remote.
- The employment type is full-time.
Compensation
- The indicative compensation range is $75,000–$115,000 USD equivalent annually, plus benefits.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze player behavior, retention, monetization, and engagement metrics.
- Build dashboards and reports for live operations, design, and product teams.
- Run A/B tests on features, balance changes, and live operations events.
- Develop player segmentation and lifecycle analyses.
- Partner with designers and producers on analytics-driven decisions.
- Identify data quality issues and partner with engineering on instrumentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in game analytics, product analytics, or data analysis.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI and game analytics platforms.
- Working knowledge of Python or R for analysis.
- Strong understanding of game KPIs, including DAU, retention, ARPDAU, and conversion.
- Excellent written communication and ability to translate data into recommendations.
