Job Overview

- Design and Construction: Creating custom furniture pieces, from initial design to final assembly, using various woodworking techniques.
- Material Selection: Choosing appropriate wood types based on project requirements, budget, and client preferences.
- Woodworking Techniques: Utilizing hand and power tools like saws, drills, sanders, and lathes to cut, shape, and join wood.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and understanding technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate construction.
- Installation: Fitting and installing furniture, cabinets, shelving, and other woodworking features in homes or commercial spaces.
- Repair and Restoration: Restoring and repairing damaged furniture, ensuring it meets quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Following safety guidelines and using personal protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaboration: Working with clients, other tradespeople, and suppliers to complete projects successfully.
