Fundamental Technical Trainer

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fundamental technical training to dealer apprentices at the Basildon Training Centre, colleges and dealer locations.
• Prepare courses and set up classroom and workshop facilities.
• Complete paperwork associated with running a course in a timely and proficient manner.
• Update courses and liaise with the training manager on course content.
• Prepare training exercises to develop practical skills.
• Manage health and safety and the general conduct of technicians during training courses.
• Report relevant product or dealer business issues to the training manager.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Identify opportunities to offer training to the dealer network.
• Act as the day-to-day contact for apprentice training partners.

Experience Required

• Ability to learn technical topics.
• Sound technical understanding of hydraulics, electrics, engines and powertrains.
• Knowledge of CNH products is an advantage.
• Knowledge of agricultural or similar industries.
• Computer literacy with familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
• Clear speaking voice and good diction.
• People skills and ability to motivate.
• Inquisitive personality.
