Role Overview
Fund administration role supporting securities and portfolio or fund valuation for mutual funds, alternative investment funds and portfolio managers.
The team manages end-to-end fund administration processes using a configurable fund accounting platform.
The role provides exposure to money market, equity, arbitrage, exchange-traded and hybrid funds.
Key Responsibilities
- Compute and reconcile NAV, income accruals and NAV movements.
- Review bank and holdings reconciliations and resolve breaks.
- Process and verify daily trades in the system.
- Value and price securities and coordinate trade matters with clients.
- Coordinate unit capital files with registrars and process them in the system.
- Monitor trade and custody instructions received by email.
- Compute income equalisation and distributable surplus.
- Compute and disseminate NAV to the press and registrars.
- Scrutinise trial balances and coordinate audits through account finalisation.
Skills and Experience
- 3–4 years of experience.
- Knowledge of mutual fund accounting and operations.
