Functional (Legacy) SME

Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking a highly experienced Functional (Legacy) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a federal client in modernizing and sustaining legacy defense-related ERP systems.

In this role, you will provide deep functional expertise across ERP strategy, test planning, and Agile program execution.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of working software solutions while supporting mission-critical financial and supply chain systems.

As a Functional (Legacy) SME , you will:

• Define and support the “Definition of Ready” for backlog items to enable effective Agile sprint planning and backlog grooming
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver working software solutions in each iteration, including configuration and development support
• Adapt functional designs to develop comprehensive test plans, including test conditions and test scripts
• Execute functional testing and support validation activities through release completion
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot issues identified by stakeholders
• Provide expertise in ERP strategy and planning within defense-related environments
• Ensure adherence to established processes, procedures, and program standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including federal defense working capital fund organizations and trading partners

• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Remote work supporting federal defense programs

• Minimum of 10+ years experience working with Department of Defense (DoD)
