- Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Major Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of baked goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, and bread.

- Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment.
- Decorate pastries and desserts to ensure company standards and SOPs are met.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working area.
- Follow all food safety procedures.
- Receive and store supplies properly.
- Support leadership in training of new techniques and products.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook, baker, or in a relevant role.
- Great attention to detail and creativity.
- Knowledge of baking techniques and food industry regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be ServSafe certified.
- Education: A degree or certification in culinary arts or a related field is often preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience as a pastry cook, piping, decorating, working in professional kitchen and bakery environment (1 year minimum).
Pay and Schedule
- Hourly Pay Rate: $18.50 or more based on experience.
- Rotating 40 hour schedule including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
