Full-Time Assistant Manager

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to achieve company objectives and KPI goals.
• Support operational execution involving policies, procedures, loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
• Recruit, develop, and train team members focused on sales, customers, and fashion.
• Model the Torrid customer experience and encourage positive customer connections and loyalty.
• Support merchandise strategies and maintain a clean, consistent, inviting store environment.
• Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and District Manager.

Required Qualifications

• At least six months of specialty or apparel retail management experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams to success and demonstrate sales performance.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining an excellent customer experience.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations, duties, environments, and work schedules.
• Fashion-focused mindset with awareness of current trends.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk during scheduled work periods.
• Ability to pack and unpack shipments, arrange or move store fixtures, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to reach merchandise using ladders, step stools, and merchandise retrieval tools.
