Responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch high impact products that improve guest experience, operational efficiency, and business performance.
- Make key technical decisions to ensure the platform remains scalable, reliable, and maintainable as the company grows internationally.
- Establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, development workflows, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and help create a high performance engineering culture.
- Develop systems that eliminate manual work and allow operations to scale efficiently across multiple markets.
- Build and maintain integrations with platforms including Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, Google, OpenAI, and other strategic partners.
- Implement AI powered workflows, tools, and agents that improve productivity and decision making across the business.
- Work closely with product, operations, revenue, and leadership teams to translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions.
Requirements
- Strong full stack software engineering experience
- Experience designing and scaling production systems
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and system architecture
- Experience leading technical projects from concept to deployment
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills

Role Overview
- Looking for a Full Stack Engineering Lead to scale both technology and engineering culture.
- Hands on leadership role: majority of time building products, solving technical challenges, and architecting systems.
- Also guide engineering standards, mentor team members, and shape the future of the platform.
What You'll Build
- Lead development of Base360.ai, the technology platform powering every aspect of The Flex.
- Work across product, engineering, AI, and operations to create scalable systems.
- Responsible for what gets built and how it's built.
Your Mission
- Lead Product Development: Design, build, and launch high impact products.
- Architect Scalable Systems: Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Drive Engineering Excellence: Establish best practices, code quality, workflows, and documentation.
- Mentor and Support Engineers: Provide guidance, code reviews, and foster high performance culture.
- Build Automation at Scale: Eliminate manual work for efficient scaling.
- Integrate Critical Platforms: Build integrations with Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, Google, OpenAI, etc.
- Leverage AI: Implement AI powered workflows, tools, and agents.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with product, operations, revenue, and leadership.
Tech Stack
- Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript, Supabase, PostgreSQL, AWS, OpenAI APIs, Stripe, Twilio, Docker, GitHub Actions.
- You don't need experience with every technology, but should be comfortable learning quickly.
Must Have
- Strong full stack software engineering experience.
- Experience designing and scaling production systems.
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and system architecture.
- Experience leading technical projects from concept to deployment.
