Role Overview
SIG is hiring a Full Stack Engineer for its founding engineering Center of Excellence in Pune, India.
The role is client-facing as a Technical Consultant and focuses primarily on writing and shipping software.
The position supports higher-education platforms, integrations, Experience Cards, workflow automation, and internal AI tooling.
Location and Schedule
- The role is based in Pune, India, with a hybrid work arrangement.
- Working hours are flexible but require three to four hours of daily overlap with US Eastern morning.
- The schedule typically extends into the IST evening, with work commonly ending around 9:00–10:00 PM IST.
What You Will Do
- Map business requirements to Ellucian APIs and validate that required data is available before development.
- Build REST and JSON integrations between Ellucian platforms and third-party systems.
- Develop React-based Experience Cards and automate business processes with Ellucian Workflow.
- Translate written specifications into production code with limited supervision.
- Use AI coding assistants and contribute to SIG's internal AI delivery tooling.
- Secure integrations with least-privilege credentials and protect sensitive student, HR, and finance data.
