Full-Stack Developer Intern - Route Optimization

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development, testing, and maintenance of Route Optimization software solutions using Java and AWS
• Collaborate to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code, along with comprehensive tests to ensure reliability and performance
• Participate in team’s agile scrum sprints and ceremonies
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Contribute to troubleshoot ing , debug ging , and optimiz ing the system
• Support the deploy ment of software updates and the maint enance of system performance
• The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders

Qualification s

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Proficient in Java
• Knowledge of additional programming languages, including C# and Python
• Experience with AWS or Azure is an asset
• Strong understanding of data structures
• Experience designing and implementing database structures .
• Logical, analytical, and creative approach to problem-solving
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
