Position Overview
The College of Business Administration seeks a Full Professor of Business Administration.
The position reports to the Department Chair and Dean and supports teaching, research, service, and accreditation activities.
General Academic Duties
- Teach undergraduate business administration courses and potentially graduate courses during the academic year.
- Attend faculty meetings and university events, serve on committees, and engage in scholarship and professional development.
- Support student learning, inclusion, collegiality, and a high-quality student experience.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Operations Management, or a closely related field.
- The doctorate must be from an accredited Western residential university.
- At least three years of demonstrated teaching excellence in English-medium programs.
- Active research record with publications in refereed journals and at conferences.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Strong cultural awareness, sensitivity, and willingness to support university and community service.
- Familiarity with technology-infused academic environments is required.
- A procedural promotion letter is required for appointment at Full Professor rank.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Maintain scholarly or professional development activity and current knowledge of the field.
- Advise students and contribute to college, university, and external committees.
- Manage or lead initiatives supporting performance and accreditation.
- Participate in colleague recruitment, management, development, and mentoring.
- Design, develop, review, assess, and improve courses and programs.
- Provide feedback, guidance, and support to students.
Teaching and Academic Practice
Contribute to teaching and research policy and practice within the school and faculty.
Develop innovative approaches to learning and teaching.
Provide timely feedback and assessment of coursework and examinations.
Provide student support and refer issues to specialist parties when appropriate.
