Role Overview

Modern Frontend Development

• Build and maintain production web applications with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable frontend components.
• Translate product requirements and designs into clean, intuitive, responsive experiences.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and real-time communication services.
• Work with WebSockets or Socket.IO and handle updates, reconnection, errors, and UI synchronization.
• Use React Query or TanStack Query for server state and Redux or Redux Toolkit for complex client state.
• Improve frontend architecture, performance, code organization, and maintainability.

Quality and Testing

• Write unit and integration tests using Jest and end-to-end tests using Playwright.
• Test work thoroughly, participate in code reviews, identify regressions, and debug root causes.
• Write code that is understandable, reviewable, testable, and maintainable.

AI-Enabled Engineering

• Use AI coding tools to research, prototype, implement, debug, test, and refactor solutions.
• Provide AI tools with appropriate context, requirements, and constraints, then critically review generated code.
• Use AI to automate repetitive work while maintaining quality, security, performance, and maintainability standards.

Ownership and Collaboration

• Own work from requirements through implementation, testing, review, and production.
• Communicate technical risks, investigate blockers, and collaborate with frontend, backend, QA, product, and design teams.
• Give and receive constructive feedback, help teammates, share knowledge, and take responsibility for shipped quality.

Frontend Ecosystem

• The frontend ecosystem includes React, JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, React Query, TanStack Query, Redux, Redux Toolkit, Jest, Playwright, WebSockets, Socket.IO, RabbitMQ, REST APIs, Git, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with every listed technology is not required; strong fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly are emphasized.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• 0–2 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and hands-on React experience.
• Good TypeScript and type-safe development knowledge.
• Understanding of React components, hooks, state management, rendering, and lifecycle.
• Experience integrating APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Understanding of frontend testing, HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser fundamentals.
• Familiarity with real-time architectures, message queues, Git, debugging, maintainable code, AI tools, communication, and teamwork.

Success in the Role

• Understand the frontend codebase, architecture, and development workflow.
• Deliver production features with increasing independence and build appropriate automated tests.
• Work confidently with REST APIs, debug frontend and integration issues, and learn the real-time architecture.
• Use AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining engineering quality and contribute to technical discussions and code reviews.
