Front Office Rooms Controller - Resort Tower

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE.

Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club.

It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Front Office Room Controller to join the resort’s Front Office – Resort Tower Operations team.

The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Oversee room inventory and assignment to support high-volume arrivals and departures.

Coordinate closely with Housekeeping and Facility Management to ensure room readiness and availability.

Monitor real-time room status and prioritize allocations based on guest type, arrival time, and operational needs.

Optimize room blocking strategy to maximize efficiency, minimize room moves, and support upselling opportunities.

Support Front Desk operations by managing guest flow and reducing wait times during peak periods.

Ensure accurate system updates within PMS (e.g., Opera Cloud) for room status, availability, and assignments.

Communicate effectively with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to resolve room-related issues promptly.

Handle special requests and room preferences in line with guest profiles and brand standards.

Support pre-arrival planning and group/block management.

Maintain detailed records and reports related to room inventory and operational performance.

Ensure all decisions align with Forbes Five-Star service delivery and operational efficiency standards.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a luxury hospitality environment, preferably within Front Office or Rooms Division.

Previous experience as a Room Controller, Front Desk Supervisor, or similar role preferred.
