Role Overview
Chalhoub Group is seeking a Front End Developer specializing in React.js to join its e-commerce web team.
The role builds and maintains a customer-facing luxury retail storefront serving multiple GCC countries and languages.
The position focuses on polished, fast, accessible, and scalable interfaces across regions and devices.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build responsive, reusable React and Tailwind CSS components for the e-commerce storefront.
- Integrate interfaces with GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client and the headless commerce backend.
- Implement English and Arabic internationalized, RTL-ready interfaces across multiple country storefronts.
- Develop application logic across Next.js Pages Router and App Router architectures and support the migration between them.
- Troubleshoot browser and device issues and improve performance and Core Web Vitals.
- Extend the shared component library in Storybook.
- Write unit, component, end-to-end, regression, and visual regression tests.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain quality through ESLint, Prettier, and CI checks.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Proven React.js or front-end development experience.
