Front End Developer- Birmingham

Develop, maintain and enhance modern front-end applications.

Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, back-end developers and business stakeholders.

Build responsive, accessible and performant user interfaces.

Translate business requirements and design concepts into scalable solutions.

Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews and adherence to best practices.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to agile ceremonies.

Strong commercial experience in Front End Development. Expert knowledge of: JavaScript (ES6+) TypeScript React HTML5 CSS3 / SCSS Experience building responsive and accessible web applications. Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services. Experience using Git and modern CI/CD practices. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and agile delivery. Experience within Financial Services, Wealth Management or Insurance. Desirable: Knowledge of Azure cloud environments. Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress or Playwright. Exposure to design systems and component libraries. Experience working within highly regulated environments.
