Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily food and beverage operations within Chapter Cafe, focusing on service standards, guest experience, and operational efficiency.
- Assess existing processes, identify gaps, and design practical solutions for workflow, staffing, inventory, costing, and quality control.
- Collaborate with management and on ground teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures, training guidelines, and performance metrics.
- Regularly review financial and operational data, propose improvements, and support Ribbonaira in aligning cafe operations with the brand’s luxury positioning.
Requirements
- Strong Operations Management skills, including experience with restaurant or cafe workflows, SOPs, inventory control, and cost management.
- Proven Consulting capabilities, with experience diagnosing operational issues, recommending solutions, and managing implementation in hospitality or food and beverage environments.
- Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with cross functional teams, training staff, and presenting findings.
- Robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial reports, operational KPIs, and customer feedback.
- Customer Service expertise, with a focus on guest satisfaction and service recovery.
- Previous experience in restaurant, cafe, or hospitality operations at supervisor, manager, or consultant level.
- Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility to adapt to peak business hours.
- Comfort working in a freelance/consulting capacity, including setting clear objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Relevant education in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems, reservation tools, and basic MS Office or similar productivity software.
