About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support the marketing activities of a globally renowned tourism board and coordinate all processes related to tourism promotion
- Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing and communication strategies for international clients
- Develop the Qatar market for mc Group and drive new business acquisition, with additional focus on GCC and MENA
- Offer strategic counsel, create toolkits, and lead in house projects
- Serve as an external press service, distribute press releases to B2B and B2C, and communicate with media
- Analyse and monitor the Qatar and additional markets (GCC and MENA)
- Manage and coordinate your team and brief other units
- Create, evaluate, and process budgets, keeping an eye on all items, costs and KPIs
Requirements
- At least six years of professional experience
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree
- In depth knowledge of the PR and communication market in the target markets
- Excellent verbal and written English skills

Your tasks
- You will support the marketing activities of a globally renowned tourism board and coordinate all processes related to tourism promotion.
- You will identify, develop, and evaluate marketing and communication strategies for our international clients, including governments, tourism boards, businesses, sports organisations, and associations.
- You will be responsible for developing the Qatar market for mc Group and driving new business acquisition, with additional focus on GCC and MENA.
- You will offer strategic counsel, create toolkits, and lead in house projects, demonstrating expertise in strategic analysis and project management.
- You will serve as an external press service and shall be responsible for distributing press releases to B2B and B2C and communicating with media.
- You analyse and monitor the Qatar and additional markets (GCC and MENA).
- You manage and coordinate your team and brief the other units, such as media planning, PR, social media, events and digital.
- You are responsible for creating, evaluating, and processing budgets and always keep an eye on all items, costs and KPIs.
- You consult with other units to negotiate contracts and are in constant contact with the media and other distribution channels.
Your profile
- You communicate convincingly, confidently, and sympathetically.
- You have in depth knowledge of the PR and communication market in the target markets.
- You have at least six years of professional experience.
- You have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree.
- You are not afraid to take on responsibility and can manage customers and external providers.
- You have excellent verbal and written English skills.
