About the Role
Legend Dragon Building Contracting is seeking a Freelance Planning Engineer for commercial/residential building projects in Dubai. The role requires 5-8 years of UAE/GCC planning experience and strong Primavera P6 skills to prepare baseline programmes, progress reports, and recovery plans.

Responsibilities
- Prepare the full baseline programme in Primavera P6 based on contract documents, drawings, BOQ, project scope, authority requirements, procurement requirements, and construction sequence
- Develop a proper WBS covering mobilization, enabling works, shoring, excavation, dewatering, substructure, superstructure, blockwork, MEP works, façade, finishing, testing and commissioning, authority approvals, snagging, and handover
- Prepare the project critical path and identify major milestones
- Prepare procurement and long lead item schedule linked to the construction programme
- Prepare shop drawing, material submittal, and authority approval schedules
- Prepare manpower and resource assumptions where required
- Prepare project progress S curve and planned progress percentages
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reporting templates
- Conduct monthly site visits to verify actual progress and coordinate with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and site team
- Conduct weekly remote progress review meetings with the project team
- Update the Primavera P6 programme based on actual progress received from the site team
- Identify delays, critical activities, constraints, and required recovery actions
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years planning experience in UAE/GCC building construction projects
- Strong Primavera P6 experience is mandatory
- Experience in commercial/residential building projects, preferably B+G+5 or higher
- Good understanding of construction sequence, authority approvals, procurement planning, MEP coordination, finishing works, testing and commissioning, and handover
