Role Overview
The Business Performance Advisor delivers business planning and performance management products to various bp businesses.
The role partners with technical and finance leadership across geographies to develop decision-support products and manage stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial management information, performance materials, analysis, and insights for business decisions.
- Perform economic analysis to evaluate project and scenario viability and identify economic drivers and sources of value.
- Improve supply-related management information systems and processes through automation and self-service.
- Drive standardization, simplification, and automation of financial analysis and reporting products.
- Work across global FP&A teams to establish effective ways of working and collaboration.
- Coach junior team members and embed new ways of working across teams.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A business, finance, or engineering degree or equivalent is required.
- Extensive performance reporting experience in large-scale organizations is required.
- Experience developing and communicating financial management information to stakeholders is required.
- Experience delivering business planning processes is required.
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft products, Power BI, Tableau, or similar financial and visualization systems is required.
- Ability to manage stakeholders at different organizational levels and coach team members is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- CA or another accounting designation such as CIMA or ACCA is preferred.
- Ten years of relevant post-degree experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting is preferred.
- Experience in downstream, retail, manufacturing, logistics, or customer-facing businesses is advantageous.
Schedule and Travel
- The role may require alternative shifts to provide overlap with European or British time zones.
- The description states expected travel of 10–15%, including international travel.
- Relocation assistance is available within the country.
