A financial services group in Dubai is seeking a Founding AI Engineer to architect and deploy production-grade AI systems for investment research and decision-making. This greenfield role involves building agentic AI systems, data pipelines, and evaluation frameworks.

Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic AI systems for research and information retrieval
- Build AI powered workflows across text, voice, video, PDFs, charts, and structured datasets
- Develop scalable data pipelines and research data platforms
- Establish data governance, observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks
- Create maker checker validation systems and human in the loop workflows
- Support portfolio analytics, performance attribution, risk analysis, and research workflows
- Work closely with business leaders to identify opportunities and rapidly deploy solutions
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems
- Deep experience designing and deploying agentic AI systems
- Strong understanding of AI evaluation, governance, monitoring, observability, and risk controls
- Strong Python engineering skills and experience building cloud native AI platforms
- Strong mathematical and analytical foundation, including experience with time series and quantitative data
- Hands on experience with multimodal AI (NLP, speech to text, OCR, computer vision, graph interpretation) is desirable
- Experience supporting investment research or investment decision making workflows is highly desirable

Role Overview
- Partnering with a financial services group building an AI first operating model across investment management, digital assets, fintech, and banking.
- Seeking a Founding AI Engineer to architect and deploy production grade AI systems for investment research, knowledge management, and decision making.
- Greenfield opportunity to build the foundations of an AI powered research platform with direct access to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing single and multi agent systems for research and information retrieval.
- Building AI powered workflows across text, voice, video, PDFs, charts, and structured datasets.
- Developing scalable data pipelines and research data platforms.
- Establishing data governance, observability, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.

What We're Looking For

Compensation & Location
- Location: Dubai, UAE.
- Working Model: 5 days per week in office.
- Compensation: $500K $1M TC.
