About the Role

Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical aircraft maintenance including troubleshooting and rectification
- Carry out flight line duties as directed
- Raise Technical Publication Review Forms against approved data
- Support work centre Supervisor in ensuring accurate shift handovers
- Adhere to tool control procedures and use only approved data
- Provide 100% supervision to assigned RSAF Trainee Technicians
- Provide consolidation training and mentoring to RSAF personnel
- Liaise with RSAF and BAE Systems management to identify training opportunities
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to supervise and train technicians
- Knowledge of approved data and tool control procedures

Job Purpose
- Carry out Mechanical aircraft maintenance activities and supervise consolidation training of assigned RSAF Technicians and Saudi National BAE Systems Trainees in support of RSAF Typhoon Flying programme.
Job Accountabilities
- Carrying out Mechanical aircraft maintenance activities including detailed troubleshooting and rectification.
- Carrying out flight line duties as directed.
- Raising Technical Publication Review Forms (TPRF) against approved data.
- Assist with raising Technical Requests (TRs) for any aircraft related anomalies.
- Support the work centre Supervisor in ensuring shift handovers are accurate.
- Adhering to tool control procedures.
- Adhering to the use of only approved data.
- Carrying out good husbandry practices.
- Holds 2nd signature.
- Provide 100% supervision to assigned RSAF Trainee Technicians at level A.
- Provide and Supervise consolidation training and mentoring to assigned RSAF personnel leading to award of 1st signature.
- Provide Training Guidance and mentoring of nominated RSAF personnel leading to award of 2nd signature.
