Reporting to the Construction Manager, our Northern Region Infrastructure team are now seeking a Foreperson to support our SEQ Civils team based in Ormeau. As an experienced civil construction professional, you will have demonstrated experience delivering small to mid-scale projects, with a strong background supervising earthwork, pavements (both flexible and rigid), drainage, and concrete works. You will have proven commitment to safety coupled with strong leadership qualities. You will encourage and celebrate positive outcomes, while fostering a culture of autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement. With an excellent ability to understand and interpret project and client specific requirements, and strong financial and commercial acumen you will demonstrate an ability to understand costings, budgets, forecasting, subcontractor management, and project controls
Have experience in delivering works in a busy, live operating environment that requires an elevated level of planning, co-ordination, and adaptability.
Be a highly capable at interface management, resource co-ordination and can build strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders, whilst working collaboratively across a diverse and complex environment.
Be resilient, adaptable and someone who is comfortable making decisions and taking initiative.
Be a resolute leader, and one who priorities safety for all, you will commit to high productivity and ensure that project planning, resources, budgets, and timelines are on successfully met.
