Foreman

Overview

• Supervise daily site activities for sewerage network projects and buildings, including excavation, pipe installation, manholes, and associated works.
• Allocate tasks to workers, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and equipment operators to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor use of materials, tools, and equipment, minimizing waste and ensuring proper handling.
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations, conducting toolbox talks and ensuring use of PPE.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and work schedules.
• Inspect completed work to ensure alignment with project standards and consultant requirements.
• Prepare daily site reports on manpower, equipment usage, and work progress.
• Report any site issues, delays, or required corrective actions to the Site Engineer/Project Manager.
• Support training and guidance of workers to maintain efficiency and quality.
