Role Overview
Factory Foreman role leading the production team on the shop floor.
The position connects factory workers with the factory supervisor and supports efficient production of high-quality joinery products.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise carpenters, machine operators, and factory workers.
- Assign tasks and ensure work meets specifications.
- Ensure correct handling of woodworking machines and tools.
- Train and assist workers to improve their skills.
- Identify production issues and suggest improvements.
- Monitor material and tool stock levels and ensure availability.
- Maintain factory cleanliness and safety standards.
- Record daily production output and report to the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in joinery or carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
