Food Services Associate

Qualifications

• A Secondary School Diploma or Grade 12 is required; a Food Service Worker Certificate is preferred.
• Current Advanced Food Handler Certification is required and must be renewed as required.
• Previous food service experience is preferred, especially in healthcare, long-term care, or commercial food service.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets, texture-modified diets, fluid consistencies, and healthcare meal service is required.
• English communication, basic mathematics, recipe following, organization, and attention to detail are required.
• Candidates must safely operate food service equipment and meet the physical demands of prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and repetitive tasks.
• Availability for rotating shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays is required.

Workplace

• The role requires work at both UHN West Park Healthcare Centre and UHN Reactivation Care Centre locations based on operational requirements.
