Food & Beverage Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee food and beverage outlets and ensure quality of food, beverages, service, and ambiance.
• Maintain staffing and timeliness across outlets and coordinate service staff for all meal periods during shifts.
• Operate according to Forbes five-star standards and hold the team accountable daily.
• Assist the department manager with outlet service standards and train staff on service, safety, and product knowledge.
• Monitor outlet setup and maintenance, including completion of side work.
• Perform administrative functions and communicate information to the department manager.
• Follow safety procedures, conduct safety awareness activities, and assist with back-of-house storage organization.
• Verify guest identification when alcohol is ordered at tables or bars.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a bar or high-volume restaurant in a similar environment.
• Strong Micros knowledge and experience.
• Fluent English communication.
• Ability to prioritize workload, stay organized, and adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and exceptional guest recovery skills.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence and present information to varied audiences.
• Knowledge of outlet food and beverage menus and correct guest identification procedures for alcohol service.
• Attention to detail, reliability, strong work ethic, initiative, creativity, and passion for food.

Service environment

• The role supports food and beverage outlets in a luxury hospitality property in Doha.
• The position involves coordinating outlet service, meal periods, back-of-house areas, offices, liquor rooms, and beer coolers.
