What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee smooth operations of the restaurant and bar.
  • Ensure all guests receive excellent hospitality and service.
  • Respond to guest concerns with professionalism and calm composure.
  • Support staff training, onboarding, and feedback.
  • Promote a positive team culture across the food and beverage team.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in a hotel or resort food and beverage team as a supervisor or team leader.
  • Excellent bartending skills and beverage knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a food and beverage team to success.
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills.
  • RSA Certificate.
  • Reliable transport is required because public transport is not accessible at required shift times.
  • Availability to work weeknights, weekends, and the holiday season.

About the Resort

Mercure Resort is located between the Hinterland and Gold Coast beaches and offers 292 rooms, tropical gardens, and two pools.

The role is based in the locally inspired restaurant and bar, The Green Dining, overlooking the resort pool and Palm Meadows Golf Course.
