Position Summary

The supplied position summary describes Utility Cleaners who support vital hotel functions across departments.

The work may include kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry support focused on cleaning and material movement.

Core Duties

  • Prepare fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
  • Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, handwash stations, linen washers, dryers, and other cleaning tools.
  • Transport dishware and linens across the hotel.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, quality expectations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain professional appearance and communications and build positive working relationships.
  • Support team goals and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Preferred Qualifications

  • No high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required.
