Our Merthyr Floating Support Service plays a vital role in tackling homelessness by providing practical support and opportunities for people experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness. This is a rewarding and varied role, with much of your time spent in the community.
Working in this role, you will support people with complex needs and challenging circumstances. You will work directly with individuals who are living in temporary accommodation or in their own homes. You will carrying out housing and support assessments, developing personalised support plans, and helping them achieve positive outcomes. This includes assisting with resettlement, tenancy sustainment, and ongoing support tailored to individual needs.
Success in this role requires a flexible and adaptable approach, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of people.
