- Oversee day to day operations of the company's vehicle fleet
- Coordinate vehicle scheduling and dispatch
- Monitor fleet utilization and ensure vehicles are maintained, inspected, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards
- Communicate regularly with drivers, operations staff, and customers to manage pick ups, deliveries, and issue resolution
- Track fleet performance, update records and systems, and respond to service requests
- Support operational decisions to optimize routes, reduce downtime, and control costs
- Support continuous process improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency
Requirements
- Strong Fleet Operations and Fleet Management skills
- Experience in Operations Management
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Proficiency with fleet management software, GPS tracking tools, and basic MS Office applications
- Solid organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to analyze operational data and recommend improvements
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or related discipline is a plus
- Ability to work on site in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities

Role Description
- The Fleet Coordinator is a full time, on site role based in Houston, TX, responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the company's vehicle fleet.
- This role coordinates vehicle scheduling and dispatch, monitors fleet utilization, and ensures that vehicles are maintained, inspected, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
- The Fleet Coordinator communicates regularly with drivers, operations staff, and customers to manage pick ups, deliveries, and issue resolution.
- Daily tasks include tracking fleet performance, updating records and systems, responding to service requests, and supporting operational decisions to optimize routes, reduce downtime, and control costs.
- The role also supports continuous process improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong Fleet Operations and Fleet Management skills to coordinate vehicle usage, maintenance, and compliance.
- Experience in Operations Management to optimize routes, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with drivers, internal teams, and clients.
- Proficiency with fleet management software, GPS tracking tools, and basic MS Office applications.
- Solid organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to analyze operational data and recommend improvements to efficiency, safety, and cost control.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is strongly preferred.
