- Contribute to the formulation and execution of investment strategies, annual business plans, and related policies
- Oversee asset allocation, bond trading, hedging, and repo/reverse repo transactions to optimise liquidity across the portfolio
- Research global fixed income markets, monitor market developments, and deliver actionable insights to ALCO and senior management
- Manage credit risk exposures, develop hedging strategies, and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
- Identify market opportunities and conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments
- Drive synergy opportunities across associates and subsidiaries
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banks and financial institutions
- Lead, guide, and oversee the fixed income team in executing transactions, portfolio analysis, and reporting with efficiency and integrity
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of experience in financial services or banking, with significant exposure to fixed income portfolio management
- Strong knowledge of fixed income products, portfolio risk return evaluation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Proven expertise in structuring, negotiating, and monitoring fixed income transactions
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high performing teams
- Professional qualifications such as CFA or equivalent are highly desirable

Role Overview
- A global asset manager is seeking an experienced Section Head – Fixed Income to lead its Fixed Income portfolio strategy.
- This is a senior individual contributor and team leadership role with overall responsibility for developing and implementing long term investment strategies, encompassing asset allocation, portfolio construction, and ongoing monitoring.
