Responsibilities
- Manage end to end Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial processing
- Perform reconciliations across AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and the General Ledger in support of month end and year end financial reporting cycles
- Prepare management reports, analytical schedules, VAT submissions, and fixed asset reports in accordance with IFRS and UAE VAT requirements
- Monitor payment cycles, receivables, vendor performance, and asset records, identifying opportunities to strengthen controls, governance, and operational efficiency
- Support finance transformation initiatives including process automation, system enhancements, AI enabled solutions, and continuous improvement projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA highly preferred
- 8 to 10 years of experience across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, or Finance Operations
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, General Ledger processes, and finance operations
- Proficiency in Oracle Fusion or Oracle Financials, with advanced Excel skills
- Exposure to Power BI, automation tools, or AI driven finance solutions is advantageous

Role Overview
- This is a 1 year fixed term contract opportunity with a public sector organisation based in Abu Dhabi.
- The role sits within the Finance team at Associate level and is suited to an experienced finance professional with hands on expertise across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
