As a Fitter Journeyman here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
You will apply your technical skills to support building automation projects, ensuring that all fittings and installations meet quality and regulatory standards.
You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and you’ll work out our Augusta, ME location on a Hybrid/Remote work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the successful implementation and maintenance of building automation systems, contributing to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of facilities managed by Honeywell Building Automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical components and systems related to building automation.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate fitting and installation.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
You Must Have
- 2 years minimum of mechanical field service experience
- 2 years of experience in mechanical fitting and installation within building systems or related fields.
- 2 years of experience utilizing mechanical tools, equipment, and safety standards applicable to building automation installations.
- 2 years of experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- 2 years of experience troubleshooting mechanical systems and performing preventative maintenance.
- 2 years of experience working within compliance and regulatory requirements related to mechanical installations in commercial buildings.

- Experience working in building automation or HVAC systems installation and maintenance.

- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
The annual base salary range for this position is $64,400.00 - $83,000.00.
